Also, reenactments are held there to show visitors how the men worked in the capitol. This provides the guests specific details of the colonial government. Throughout the building, there are ways to learn about the government and the people working for it. For example, the furnishings and paintings reflect government buildings in the colonial period. This building has affected and taught many people some of the most important parts of our history.
In conclusion, the Capitol Building of Colonial Williamsburg deserves the 2016 commemorative coin. This is true because the people there have affected America today, important governmental decisions took place, and it serves as a powerful exhibit. Each exhibit at Colonial Williamsburg had and has special role now and in the colonial period.
