Car vs. Bicycle Have you decided about which transportation you want to ride on? In the world, the climate is getting warmer than before. People should decide which transportation they should get it. People now days know that the fossil fuel and burning gas can make the world to get warmer. We, the people know that the ozone layer. We know that burning fossil fuel can destroy the ozone layer. If the ozone layer destroys, the world will get warmer and warmer and the people might die. We, people should decide which transportation we should use. We have to choose the right transportation to use. I’m going to tell the different between car and bicycle. The first thing that I’m going to tell the different between car and bicycle is about their cost. As we know, the car is more expansive then the bicycle. “As we are purchasing a car, it will cost us at least RM15, 000 even for the cheapest car. It is very expensive whereby we need to spend large percentage of our income and save money for purchasing it” (Lee). The car can cost about $25,000. If we use car, we will spend lots of money. We will spend money for fuel. Now a days, maybe if we buy a gallon of gas can cost $7.00. Can you imagine how if the car use one gallon of gas per mile, and we drive about ten miles every day, how many money we will spend for gas? “Bicycles are usually being sold in a lower price whereby we can actually own one by using a few hundred ringgits. It is almost affordable by all the people” (Lee). I think, we will spend maybe $70 per day. What if the get into the garage how much money you will spend? Car is very expansive than the bicycle. Bicycle is cheap and it cost maybe $50. Bicycle doesn’t use fuel, which means you won’t spend money for gas because bicycle doesn’t use fuel. You can travel with a bicycle for many miles, but you won’t be able to pay for gas. Bicycle doesn’t use gas, so it won’t destroy the ozone layer. It can’t pollute the

Once again Dad and I were stuck in a traffic jam. The trip from our house to the library usually takes five minutes, but this time we found ourselves sitting in the midst of a river of cars that crawled ahead a few feet at a time. Up ahead, we saw that three lanes were merging into one. Two cars had collided in a fender-bender, and not only that, but they had done so in a work zone where one lane was already closed. As I watched pedestrians on the sidewalk leave us behind, I complained, “I could almost have walked to the library faster than this. I certainly could have biked there much faster.” That was when it occurred to me: If more people rode bicycles instead of driving cars, they would save money, be healthier, and contribute to cleaner air.…

After exploring the two different characteristics between Italian neorealism and post war Japanese cinema, I can compare that both types of cinema relate to the lives of the country. By that I mean, their work was influenced on the struggles and culture of the two countries. After screening Rashomon and The Bicycle Thief, I found distinctive yet similar styles between cinematography and narrative. Comparing both the films, The Book Thief and Rashomon exposes arguments of the early-twentieth century through its association of poverty and nature.…
