Humans cut down trees and that takes away other creates homes. There has been major increase in carbon dioxide in the air and deforestation at the same speed. The photosynthesis in trees need time to process that much carbon dioxide, which decreases levels of oxygen released. The effects this has on earth is explained by National Geographic website, “[f]ewer forests means larger amounts of greenhouse gases entering the atmosphere and increased speed and severity of global warming” (nationalgeographic.com).
