Do you know how to monitor your heart rate at home?
Checking your heart pulse is one of the simplest ways to monitor your heart. Checking your pulse allows you to determine your heart rate without any special equipment. All you have to do is take your index and middle finger side by side (thumb is not recommended as it has its own pulse) and place them over your wrist to find your radial pulse and underneath your jaw bone to find your carotid pulse. Once you have found your pulse, record how many pulses in a minute. For a young person, normal BPM should be around 70-100. For an adult, the norm is 60-100 BPM.
