Career Goals For Sociology

My career goal, as of right now, is centered around understanding people through sociology, history, and psychology. In my core I want to help people and improve their lives. I have an interest in what makes people do the things they do, and what makes them who they are. I have chosen this path and goal because I want to understand more about all people. I just find people very fascinating and I think the way to comprehend these things is through sociology, psychology, and history of the past.
To achieve my goal of understanding humans I will need a degree in some sort of social sciences, or social studies. I will need to attend a college of some sort, I really have no idea or preference where yet, but I plan on going directly after high
school. I would like to receive a steady income so that I can support a family, if I choose to have one, and to help my opportunities and understanding of the human race. I would also like to have benefits including health insurance, vacation days, sick days, and other common assets. I would like to be treated fairly at work based solely upon my abilities to the work and not based upon my gender or any other affiliated factors.
My work would help me to learn about human beings and therefore become closer to God in his creations. I will make all of what I do centered around doing God’s work and what he wants me to do. I will use my work to help the common good of people and God. Jesus will be a model for me at this career because I can help people. I can help them through knowledge, understanding themselves and others better.
