Psychology and Understanding Human Behavior Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator We were tasked to take a 93 question exam that measures your personality through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). My responses to the questions on the MBTI assessment indicate that my estimated type is an ENTJ. The assessment has me as a slight preference for Intuition, a moderate preference for Thinking, a moderate preference for Extraversion and a slight on Judging. All were correct except the Judging, but it’s a close margin between Judging and Perceiving. I use the judgment side however lean more to perceiving as my stronger side because I’m very spontaneous. I have the ability to release the organization and planning traits at any giving time, it just depends on what’s going on.
My MBTI "type," is actually ENTP which is almost on point with the assessment capturing my personality and preferences. ENTP descriptors seem to have me all over the place, as if I’m confused or something. I can assure that I’m far from this but in fact a very well rounded individual. The person I get along with was measured to be an ENFJ; which turns out to be pretty close also. They are somewhat outgoing, use a lot of intuition, relies on feelings and judgment. The person I don’t get along with was measured to be an ISFP; give or take some of my feelings about this person, I believe it to be close too. She keeps to herself, is structured, also relies on feelings a lot but perceptive. It seems rather unfair to do this and the person isn’t able to defend themselves, kind of like talking behind their back.
It’s funny but I believe this electronic test is a great tool and can categorize and

Have you ever asked yourself, why did you do that? The most common answer would be; I don’t know. Well this is the same process that’s applied to comprehending people in general. In a posting I read this; “Each person is sensitive to various things, which differ in understanding these aids of self knowledge and discovery.” People experience different things throughout life, but how do we get to the places we do is the question… I’ve tapped into and talked about the life of Frank Lloyd Wright, discovering and analyzing his personality. Different events got him where he is and different things got me where I am. I had ambitions of being an architect also, but the difference in time and events placed us both on different paths. Even when the outcome is the same, those people encountered very different situations to get where they are. Understanding others can help your perception of what that person’s life is or can be, but you need to know yourself before you can genuinely relate. In conclusion my goal was to learn and understand one individual but in turn I managed to learn more about myself. Reading and learning about Frank Lloyd Wright gave me a totally different outlook on life and how it can be perceived. Perception dictates living and the events through life experiences. Frank Lloyd Wright perceived the world to be beautiful as it was, and he lived it with the same passion as he had in his creations. There was a time that I didn’t have the drive needed to pursue ambitions or dreams I had, but because of my experiences grown to do better. Reading on Wright helped me understand why I strive to do what I am doing. To be a part of something greater than myself, Life!
