Cartoon Analysis Of Economic System
The cartoon is based on a home in which there is only one chop left and it is only the early bird that catches the worm. This also applies to countries that are mostly impacted by their businesses. The economic system being portrayed in this cartoon picture is the market system. There aren’t a lot of countries in the world using this economic system and the impact it had on these countries is that consumers want to buy more for less whereas businesses want to sell more for a high price that consumers can afford. This also has an impact on the delivery of social services if the required standards aren’t meet or are over exceeded.
A market economic system also known as a capitalist system is a system in which all the basic economic decisions are made by the businesses. The businesses decide what to make, how to make it and for whom to make it for depending on the

Social services are free services the government gives to its people so that they can benefit from it. Personally, I think that the market economic system is not the best for the delivery of social services because as competition gets tougher, businesses get stronger and this means that they will improve the quality of their services and their standards will be of a high record above the government given services. This then dismantles the efforts put by the government into social services because the services would seem much poorer and would also lack in the quality of the service. This will make everyone want to go to private services because they want nothing but the best for themselves whether it is a hospital or it is a school for their child in order to secure a bright future. People will go out of their way and do whatever means to be able to have nothing but the best quality services. With goods it is much more of quantity and not quality because they want

Capitalism is an economic system where the government is hands off of businesses and people work to make profit, it is based off of private ownership. In document one of the DBQ, it states that capitalism is "based on the private ownership of capital, and on the production of goods and services for profit" (document 1). Even though it may sound like a good idea, many people were unhappy with capitalism because on lthe people who took the risk to invest money were wealthy and everyone else, for the most part was poor. The solution to these problems were new ideas of economic systems. Socialism was one idea. Socialism was an economic system where there is eocnomic equality and the government owns big industries. According to me, the Union would have eventually won the war. The Union had a lot of power and a better army. They had better plans to invade the land such as the ports they took, the support and the congress passing laws such as the Emancipation Proclamation. The North invaded multiple ports giving the North access to the Confederate both by land and water. The North would have soon been able to take all the land instead making them surrender.…

Capitalism is an economic system where productions are privately owned and work for private profit. Private actors in the free market make decisions regarding supply and demand investments and prices. Investors who chose to make investments profit, workers get paid wages by businesses and companies. Free-enterprise is the freedom for private businesses to operate competitively for profit with minimum government involvement. An economic system determines what to produce, how to produce, and who will receive the production. In a capitalistic society some of the characteristics are the right to own private property, freedom of enterprise (own a business), and freedom of economic choices. Freedom of economic choices means you can work if you please or not work, spend or not spend. Capitalism also comes with a lot of competition many buyers and sellers with little control over price.…

In the cartoon we are shown 4 people who appear to be in competition for who is going to get the 1 piece of steak between the 4 of them. This can also be identified as a market economy which is by far the perfect analogy because in a market economy the suppliers produce products or services that customers are willing to buy. So the suppliers are in competition to attract the customers to buy their products. The cartoon also states that “competition is good” which is true for a market economy and one the characteristics used to distinguish the market economy.…

Capitalism is the system of raising, conserving and spending a set monetary value in a specified market. There are three main markets in a basic capitalistic economy: labor, goods and services, and financial. Labour markets (people) make products and get paid for work by the goods and services market (companies, firms, or corporations, etc.) which then sells the products back to the labourers. However, both of the first two markets pay into and receive benefits from the financial market, which handles and regulates the…

By definition, a free enterprise economy (also known as: capitalism or a free market economy) is an economic system controlled chiefly by the individuals and private companies instead of the government. Characteristics of a free-enterprise system include economic freedom, voluntary exchange, private property, and the freedom of profit motive. Capitalist societies generally achieve a higher standard of living because of the incentive to work: capitalism prefers harder and more efficient workers. Economic freedom is a principal of a free market economy, which allows people to decide how they will earn and spend their income. Economy…
