CARDINAL HEALTH INCORPORATION
INTRODUCTION
Cardinal Health Inc. is a global health care industry product and services provider that applies vast resources, knowledge and expertise with an objective of helping healthcare manufacturers and patient care providers meet their complex challenges, while providing better, safer delivery of care.
HISTORY
Cardinal Health Inc. was founded by Robert D. Walter in 1971 in Dublin, Ohio as Cardinal food Distribution Company.
Robert D. Walter borrowed $ 1.3 million to purchase cardinal food as a wholesale food distributor that served small retailors.
In 1979 Walter undertook the migration to pharmaceuticals distribution because he realized that cardinal food would never be a big player in the food business and ventured into pharmaceutical business which was growing faster than the economy as a whole. Cardinal food evolved into cardinal distribution with addition of two pharmaceuticals and a food distributor. Cardinal distribution dealt with both food and pharmaceuticals distribution between 1979 to 1988, but by the end of 1988 it full exited from the food business and dealt with pharmaceutical only
Cardinal went public in 1983 to raise capital for it growing pharmaceutical business and was renamed cardinal health Inc. to reflect the new positioning.

Quality service-Cardinal had a well ingrained philosophy that focused on obvious things like adding value as indicated in their mission statement. Quality service was the vow cardinal had made to its customers.
Purpose:
To help customers across the health care industry find answers to the challenges they face .That was their common purpose.

Direction of growth and capitalize the growth prospects.

High quality and commitment to their customers.

    The Data that has been collected, read, and analysis was to determine Miguel’s strengths and challenges (weaknesses). According to Miguel’s Data his strengths are Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, and Vocabulary. In the phonemic awareness: The student is scoring very well in phonemic awareness/oral language. He was able to get 10 out of 10 in sounding out words. He was also able to identify and say almost the entire alphabet. In the Phonics: This is one of the students’ greatest strengths.
