APUS had a lot of challenges that they were facing being a relatively new online institution.
Online institution
Being an online institution APUS faces a lot of competition from the notmal(non-online) institutions as well as its online competitors.
Relatively new
Since APUS is relatively new it’s hard for it to make its place in the market and in customer’s minds. It is new and of course less know and popular hence there is doubts in customer’s minds if they should choose APUS.
Less student enrollment
Less student enrolment will result in less profit.
Absolutely important to Increase Student Retention
It is important for APUS to increase student retention by minimizing the student dropout rate.
Increased dropout rate will result in profit reduction and will earn APUS bad reputation and ultimately bankruptcy.
