Which style would be most appropriate to address the issue with the ES employees?
There are four different styles of leadership: Coercive, Participative, Pacesetting and Coaching.

Coercive is more of a demanding and power based styles and usually isn’t used unless a leader is having issues with a problematic employee.

Participative is a styles that involves the employee(s) in the process of decision making but assures that the ending results is up to him/her.

Pacesetting is a style that is used by leaders who set high standards in performance, sometimes the leader will end up doing most of the work themselves.

As this is a case of unwillingness of performing duties on the part of the ES workers, first the rules have to be placed as well as expectations of each employee. I believe that participative styles would be the best in this situation. Opening the line of communication, for thoughts and suggestions could be the start of a more effectively ran department.

TRICARE Health Plans is the replacement for CHAMPUS which was the provider of health care services for military dependents. TRICARE not only replaced CHAMPUS but its purpose was also to facilitate members with access to better health care. Unfortunately, TRICARE has gone through many changes and upheavals since its inception in 1997. First, they began by dividing the company into regions. Each member was placed into a region based on where the military member was stationed. If the member was stationed in Maryland then his family belonged to the East Region. Unfortunately, there were many problems with this plan. First, some military members and their families did not live in the same regions. Therefore, the families either had to travel long distances for care or had to fight for an out of region referral. Next, if the member and their family were in the process of moving from one duty station to another, they were in limbo. They still belonged to the original region and would not be transferred until the member was input into the new duty station 's database. This caused problems as it was virtually impossible for members to acquire a referral for emergency care during their move.…

The biggest change that will occur in health care within the next 10 years I believe will be a cure to terminal diseases such as cancer and HIV. Along with that, I believe that health care costs will be lowered due to changes in the health care industry. Breaking news recently is that a cure for HIV has almost been discovered. Now there is a drug available that can be taken before having sexual intercourse with a partner that will prevent contracting the HIV infection. There has also been a breakthrough in curing cancer with injecting patients with the rotavirus.
