Identify what is unethical? It was unethical for Jennifer to not take the time to answer Abdul's questions that he had.
Which NOHS Code of Ethics statement applies to the situation? Standard 18 Human service professionals describe the effectiveness of treatment programs, interventions and treatments, and/or techniques accurately, supported by data whenever possible.
What I would have done differently? I would have taken Abdul in my office and answered his questions about the new medication. If I did not have the answers we would have looked them up together.

I would have listened even if I was uncomfortable. I would have taken the time to let Bert cry and get it all out.

Identify what is unethical? Carmen should have kept up with her caseload or asked a colleague for help in her difficult time. I feel the most unethical part is she trying to use privileged communication. She can not use that only her client can use that.

Standard 25 When a conflict arises between fulfilling the responsibility to the employer and the responsibility to the client, human service professionals work with all involved to manage the conflict. Standard 28 Human service professionals seek appropriate consultation and supervision to assist in decision-making when there are legal, ethical or other dilemmas.
What I would have done differently? I would have given up the paperwork to at least help my client in the court case sense I was unable to help him. I would have asked my colleagues to help me when my mother dead so I could deal with things
