Client Clarireece Precious Jones was referred by her case manager Mrs. Weiss from the social welfare office to the child development institute, where the client was then assigned to me Jacqueline Loera, BSW, MSW. Client goes by the name of Precious; she is a 16 year old African American female who has two children from her biological father. Both parents abuse client. 33 year old Mother Mary abused her emotionally and physical ever since she was a child. 40 year old Father Claude, sexually abused client since age 3. Father is now deceased due to HIV. Client is also HIV positive. Client also illustrated attitude and emotion regulation by recognizing and understanding her emotions as well as expressiveness. Her passion to change her ways of life and become a better person overall was demonstrated through the interview process when asked about her expectations, her presenting problems. Client’s capacity to self-determination while addressing the clinical assessment and the treatment form was competent, client is showing capability of self-determination, without her guardian present. Since, client shows her Biophysical growth spurt was hazards and she is now currently obese, a 16 year old female with a 350 pound life. Her weight is a concern, she describes herself has being ugly, fat and dumb. Although, her eating behavior was establish during her early childhood developmental stage and carried into adolescent with potential carrying into adult hood. Her mother Mary would not care of nutritional food and the client refers to eating even if she was not hungry, just to go into her own hallucinated world, while watching television. Client’s developmental mind was also affected through her early childhood carrying into her adolescent development stage.
