Case Study What's Next For The Philadelphia Eagles
What’s Next For The Philadelphia Eagles?

After three seasons the Chip Kelly experiment is over in Philadelphia. It’s no question that the Eagles’ roster is worse now than it was three years ago when Kelly took the helm, and the results on the field back that up. Each season the team averaged fewer points per game and yards per play, while the number turnovers increased. Without doubt Chip Kelly the GM failed Chip Kelly the coach and the entire Eagles’ organization.
Much have the discussion has been about the future of Chip Kelly, but what about the Eagles? Where do they go from here?
The Eagles main priority this offseason should be bringing in a coach who runs a more traditional offense scheme that utilizes their high priced running back

However, that would not be the case as Wentz had a solid preseason debut against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite suffering a rib injury sidelined him for the last three weeks of the preseason. Wentz's preseason debut and the progress he made in practice gave Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and the rest of the front office confidence he could be the starter against the Cleveland Browns on September 11.…

In the end, Commissioner Goodell felt that if this move turns out to be a successful venture, then he would be able to expand later down the road. He would do this by adding another team, in the AFC, to Los Angeles creating a situation like that of the New York Giants and Jets. He would then be able to move another struggling team to a new city if needed. This current idea is believed to be the best case scenario for the NFL and its success now depends on the Rams.…

The Bucs were one of the most disappointing teams last season after a solid offseason and plenty of hype (some of it by yours truly). Dirk Koetter got to keep his job even though his team took a gigantic step back in 2017 on both offense and defense. Tampa Bay desperately needed pass rush help and got it in Vita Vea and Jason Pierre-Paul. But the offense had no reason to struggle like it did in Jameis Winston’s third season.…

The frustration felt by employees leads to the final major problem Eagle is experiencing: low morale. When placed in positions where there is not chance for a win-win outcome, employees (buyers) will feel the pressure more than most. I believe that Peter should stick with the team he established if they were able to pull together the new Vigor they will be able to create the issues they are dealing with now. He needs to commit to making the more mature Vigor work and in the same way he did before. They will need to change up the leadership approach to reflect the new challenges or he will come to find out he does not have the right kind of team for the job. I think he needs to look out in the company and throw out new ideas to fellow employees and see if anyone strikes his challenges. Some one in the office may know how to help but has never been asked for input. Sometimes a lot of good people are overlooked due to the department they are in. Where I am employed when we are thinking of developing a new product or procedure we ask for input in all areas and then take the management team and the feedback and prepare for the launch. A lot of times the ideas we use are with employees most companies wouldn’t include.…
