The next day at school Rory heard that everyone was talking about the fire.Darren said his mother thought granda should not be left alone & Rory shouldn’t have to take care of him.This was the week that Val Jessup a social worker came visit them.When Mrs Foley asked Rory what was happening at home,Rory was happy to tell that they got a social worker.When Rory go home from school,he discovered that the fire brigade was there.A neighbor Mrs MacKay was hopping mad as granda had set hi flat on fire.Granda had been sent to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.
Rory was taken to hospital to see granda who very ill.This was the time Rory prayed hard to God “Please god let him wake ups soon.Val Jessup came and made decision to sent Rory to Castle Street.The apartment was Not liveable anymore.
At Castle Street Rory was introduced to Tony whom introduced him to Castle Street’s mad bunch Tom,Jackie the black boy,Georgie the blonde girl and the crazy Tess whom Rory scared of.
Rory had a fitful night and in the morning when he breakfast he met Tess and Nellie.Then Val came and took Rory to hospital.Granda had recovered but very upset that Rory had taken to Castle Street.From the act of Val,Rory might know where granda will be sent.     On the first day of being a Senior at Benson High School, Greg’s mother forces him to become friends with Rachel Kushner. Rachel is one of his old friends because they dated around six years ago. However, his mother tells him that Rachel is suddenly diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. Thus, Greg listens to his mom and follows what she wants him to do. His main goal is to get to know her better since their break up, and help cheer her up since Greg is a humorous guy. This is a person vs person conflict, mom vs Greg. Everyday, after school, Greg always sits on the couch, and watches television. His mom comes in everyday, just to see if he has called Rachel yet. However, Greg keeps on procrastinating. Thus, Greg finally decides to call Rachel although he really does not want to. A week passes by, his mom checks on Greg and asks if he called Rachel yet.     There’s a lot to talk about this time. Robyn was with Lee and he had been shot in the leg. I was so worried about him; I really like him but I don’t know how serious we are. They met up with the local dentist who was hiding in his house so he stitched Lee up and taught Robyn how to take them out whilst giving them a confirmation that our parents are at the showgrounds.
