Task 1.1: Explain the impact of significant life events on individuals namely Richard and Sophie.
Richard and Sophie were troubled by the alcohol addiction of Richard, the husband. Their marriage was at stake and their three children were suffering due to this. Richard was sent to an alcohol rehab to get rid of his addiction. This, according to the couple was a significant life event.
From the discussion in the case study it is evident that the family went through a horrible phase due to the
