College is a fundamental and a foundation for many people's lives and the future of those lives. Nowadays, life doesn’t start until college is completed. Once you have accomplished the tasks of going to college, and you have learned all the aspects of the job you want to do, life starts because there’s no need to depend on anyone but yourselves. Granted, if you do not have a college degree, you can partake in these kinds of jobs: a Dental Hygienist, an Online Advertising Manager, a Web Developer, a Medical Secretary, a Paralegal Assistant, a Stenographer-Court Reporter, a Heater and Refrigeration Mechanic, a Surveyor, Executive Assistant, or an Insurance Agent. If anything that stress just increases and doesn't until you are done with college. Like I said, kids are already stressed. If you start pushing college on them in middle school, especially grade school, the kids are going to be burnt out and done with life. Now, they may end up making it to college and they have the discipline and determination to finish college, they will hate their life. Not only because of the stress, but because they never had a life. Their life has been driven by preparation for college the entire time. It isn’t just healthy, but immoral.
I’m not trying to say that preparing for college is bad, but do it with limitations. Don’t do it too early, because your kid is going to burn up and not want to do anything and will just be depressed and have an unhappy life. The goals of a parent are not just to be able to make their kid’s lives better than their own, but also give them a happy life. That happy life starts at that kid having a happy childhood.
