There has been a progression of bullying happening as many may have noticed, in order to be able to get the bullying to stop or to even calm down someone needs to step up and have a talk, or needs to discipline the bullies. Walking down hallways at school, people say mean words, they do not think of other people's feelings as they say the cruel words coming out of their mouths. Mostly, the reasons being why children, and young adults are usually bullying someone may be because they were not disciplined enough as a child, their parents may have not been around to do so, or they may have a rough life at home. The reasoning trying to be stated is the bullying comes from selfish people. A person can tell if somebody else is selfish or not because selfish people tend to block out what others are feeling around them, how their days went, and/or what is going on in their lives. Selfish people do not care about anyone else except for themselves. A selfish person could see somebody with nothing to their name and still not help them because they do not want to do anything for anybody else. Everyone may have a friend or a family member who they may think is a selfish person, as many people may know a person that is selfish do not be afraid to stand up to them and knock them down and tell them what they are doing is wrong. Selfish people are everywhere in todayś society and they do not care if…
Bullying happens when they are not around either of them people and also some kids are too scared to tell their parents because they don’t know how they will act nor do they know if they will stop getting bullied or if it would happen more. The victims of such actions need to understand that they can get out of that situation and also that they can sometimes do it by themselves because being bullied can mess a child up in the long run(Jacobs and McMahon np). The child can become antisocial or become very insecure about themselves, which no child deserves to go through all their lives. Not only do the people that get bullied become very distressed but also the people who witness the action happening can become very uncomfortable and stressed. This isn’t fair to the witnesses either because it can mess with their physical, mental, psychological and social well beings, along with the victim’s well being too. These problems with the victims and witnesses well beings can have a long term effect which isn’t good for either of them (Jacobs and McMahon np). Some of these situations lead to physical threats which are the one of the most common types of bullying. Also, most…
Bulling is an ongoing thing in the education system weather you are a student or a teacher. Bullying involves repeated occurrences. Bullying is not generally considered a random act or a single incident. Rather, a child is repeatedly picked on by another child or is the target of harassment from a whole group of children. It is the repeated nature of bullying that causes anxiety and apprehension in victims, such that the anticipation of bullying becomes as problematic as the bullying itself. Sometimes people act in such away due to the fact they are jealous of the other person or just for fun. When they are picking on a different individual most of the time they have no idea of the damage they are really causing the other person. The type of bulling that occur in the educational system today include but not limited to emotionally, physically, socially, and sexually. The child who bullies on others wants to harm the victim; it is no accident.…
Bullies may have uninvolved parents at home or may be beaten up by siblings and therefore transferring their anger onto their “victims” at school. There may not be rules at the school against bullying. They may want to fit in and so follow along when another child is being bullied. The school might be overcrowded and there might not be enough supervision of the children.…
All three of these emotions will cause stress. Getting bullied by someone shows they are not wanted by them. When finding oneself in a position where they are being pressured, or intimidated over and over again, they come to feel and believe there is nothing anyone can do to change the situation. Therefore, it lowers confidence (self-esteem). When their confidence is lowered it is challenging to cope through stress. These emotions can cause the victims grades to drop, attitude changes and an increase of anxiety. Bullies do not only physically and mentally harm victims, but they can emotionally harm them as well. That why counselors are much needed for a certain type of…
According to, “Tales of bullying,” The reason is that bullies are the ones hurting people almost every day. They always push, hit, kick, call names, or even curse. This could affect the life of the kid getting bullied. It could start an argument which would lead to a fight then maybe suspension from school. This a bad issue around school. Try to stop this.…
Bullies do not fit into a neat little box. They come from all walks of lives, all ages, all genders, all races, and all cultures. “Bullies are very often people who have been bullied or abused themselves. Sometimes they are experiencing life situations they cannot cope with, that leave them feeling helpless and out of control.” (TktTuder, 2000). Many times, a bully does not feel that they can find any other means of fitting in or carving out their own niche in life so they turn to being powerful in a way that they feel brings them respect. They feel that being feared is the way to gain respect and surround themselves with friends and people who look up to them. However, what they do not realize is that people are “friends” with them so they do not become a target of their bullying. It all comes down to fear. Another possibility of the reason being the bullying attitude is that they bully themselves feels that they have no control in their lives. Maybe their home life is out of control and they are not listened to or valued by their family. In order to compensate for the lack of value at home the bully finds it in other places in inappropriate and unhealthy ways. Even though these are all valid explanations sometimes the only explanation is that the bully is a mean and cruel person who only feels good when they can cause others harm. These types feel no remorse and rarely stop bullying. This may be a pattern for their entire lives. The above mentioned facts on bullies have been widely accepted for many years, but new research proposes that bullying is something entirely different to some people.” Psychologists used to believe that bullies have low self-esteem, and put down other people to feel better about themselves. While many bullies are themselves bullied at home or at school, new research shows that most bullies actually have excellent self-esteem. Bullies usually have a sense of entitlement and superiority over others, and lack compassion,…

On the first place, as a result of being bullied, victims may experience different and immediate mental and physical health related consequences. They may present a higher level of anxiety, and longer spaces of sadness, also some sleeping difficulties, head and stomach ache, and above all these, victims may present a very low self-esteem. Researchers from Finland discovered that victims are more likely than bullies to suffer from anxiety disorders, such as depression, separation anxiety, panic disorder, among others. Also, this psychological stress can cause victims' bodies to be less resistant to disease and infection, and therefore they may get sick more often.…
People often bully for a number of reasons, but some of the prominent ones are because of the other people around them. What contributes to bullying? Bullying stems from households where children are either neglected or have their own way all the time. The ones that come from neglected homes or broken families, bullying becomes a way of life for them. They do it in order to survive, some people may call it survival mode. Being a bully does not mean that you poor or less fortunate however because the other kind of bullies are formed by children having their own way all the time. When they are home their parents give them anything they want and let them have their own way but when they come out into the real world and they realize that they can not always have what they want they turn to bullying to get it. Sometimes parents believe that by affording their children with more than they need…
