Strong, is not something that can be used to describe Celaena Sardothien. Her past and life are shrouded in mystery, nothing is ever brought to light. Hints are placed everywhere painting a picture, yet the final masterpiece is missing the details, still you can see the masterpiece underneath. Overall, this book is one that never lets you take a break, a constant movement of emotions and hidden agendas. Jumping right into the middle of the plot, you must figure out how to find a stable point and hang on .Honestly, I could go on of how this story isn’t just only a story but the start of a beautiful epic. Still, this isn’t what I want to explain. What I want to discuss is this quote, “You could rattle the stars," she whispered. "You could do
anything, if only you dared. And deep down, you know it, too. That’s what scares you most.” It doesn’t matter if the speaker is directing her thoughts towards the main character it feels as if it can reflect any one.
The words speak to me in a certain connection that even with the words at hand, my fingers can’t fully convey the emotions I feel. That at any point in our life we feel that emotion, the one that where you sit or stand you can feel it, a certain string tugging at you heart. You are aware of that potential, thrumming under you skin, rising, shaking trying to be set free.Never pulling with its strength, but nagging, begging to be felt, heard and understood. Under our feet a thousands steps can be taken, and each step we take can lead us to so many destinations that we are hesitant never sure if the next step is the one that can lead us to a success or disappointment. A sensation that the stars are not that far, you know there are ways to reach them, the take those stars as yours. It's the feeling of having the strumming strength of doing the impossible, our emotions, passions can lead us, this we recognize, here this is a cold realization. We become afraid, scared of what can, could happen if you were to follow. Great things may come about, whether it is good or bad will be unclear, regardless it will be
great. Nonetheless, in your body, your immobile to the distinctions of emotions raging in you, there in the core of you. There is the discerning instinct of fear, it blossoms. Fear of everything, the emotions, the strength, its endlessness, the depth you feel, and the unknown. Standing it spreads,wrangling your chest till it restricts everything, and you stuff everything away. Logic claims the truth, giving you facts, announces the flaws of yourself and the plan. Judgement is anchoring you, casting what you felt. But, there it is in the trembling of your hand, the pressure in your head, the constraint of the heart. Overall, it will be the emptiness you have left inside you. If she Celaena Sardothien can handle the truth of these words and realize how to understand and use this potential she isn’t strong, but tough.
