Invictus Meaning

In Invictus, there was powerful meanings being said throughout the poem. This poem was filled with great emotion. These emotions can be compared with challenging things going on in your life. For example, your senior year. Theres ups and downs that you go through during that time but you soon have to find a way to pull through and conquer it. The Invictus poem is a prime example of how life can change on you. Whether its for good or bad.
In the first stanza, this poem describes darkness. This poem is showing that something has affected the author in a way that is unconquerable. This feeling could describe the climax of your senior year. For instance, I may get this feeling whenever I am trying to hassle and get my college applications together. I may feel like giving up. I just know that no matter what, I should keep pushing forward. This will help me become a stronger person mentally and physically.

You decide what path you want to take whether it is good or bad You can not blame anybody but yourself for the outcome of your life. Both of these lines can relate to your senior year.
