Cell Monologue
Hey little guy they call me the nucleus of an animal cell and lucky you I'm going to be your mentor and I'm going to teach you about me. So welcome as a new Ribosome organelle in the cell world, I'm going to make you familiar with your new home.
We are going to start off with the Cell Membrane. The Cell Membrane is the selective barrier that's surrounding the cell. Since you’re a newbie you need to know that the cell membrane allows only certain things to pass into it, but that's only if it's made of proteins and other things.
What is important is that you know that I'm the largest organelle and I am determined to function in a cell. But the weird thing is that I also have cells which are genetic info and their DNA that are in me. Also the Nucleolus is

That's right I'm the Ribosomes. Since your new you should know that Ribosomes are made up of RNA and protein molecules.
I am a maze of membranes that is so long it accounts for more than half of the total membrane that is found in the cell. I'm also divided into two distinct sections of the ER that differs in the structure and function. That's right little newbie it's the Endoplasmic Reticulum.
Now listen carefully newbie the rough ER is always making its own proteins and other things so it could add it to it's own membrane. It's important because the portions of the ER's membrane its pinched off so it can form a seal sacs that's called transport vessels.
Right over there is the smooth ER. The most important job for the smooth ER is that it participates in various metabolic processes like the construction of lipids, and the deconstruction of carbohydrates and we can't forget about the detoxification of substances.
The Golgi apparatus is made up of stacks of membrane's. The Golgi apparatus has to transport vessels that is carrying proteins that are from the endoplasmic reticulum so it can be stored and modified in the Golgi

is something that lets some things in and some things out of the cell. It is an outer cover for the cell. If the cell membrane was non existences the cell would spill all over the place. Its function is to protect the integrity of the interior of the cell by allowing certain substances into the cell, while keeping other substances out. It is composed of a thin, double-layered sheet of lipids, around the Cell and is a protective membrane layer around every Cell.…

Cell membrane is a thin, elastically, living semi permeable membrane so it controls what goes in and out of the cells. Cell membrane is also made up of two layers of lipids with protein molecules between them which are called phospholipids bilayer. The outer side of each layers is hydrophobic (water hating) while the inward facing lipid chain that touch the water are hydrophilic (water-loving). Phospholipids act as building blocks of the biological cell membranes in virtually all organisms.…

Nucleus. This is the largest organelle. Surrounded by a nuclear envelope, which is a double membrane with nuclear pores - large holes containing proteins that control the exit of substances such as RNA from the nucleus. The interior is called the nucleoplasm, which is full of chromatin- a DNA/protein complex containing the genes. During cell division the chromatin becomes condensed into discrete observable chromosomes. The nucleolus is a dark region of chromatin, involved in making ribosomes.…
