Cellphones are full of utilities but most people use them to communicate in everyday situations, such as chatting with friends, business calls, appointments, and etc. They play a larger role when your life comes to a crossroads. Become lost? Flat tire? Relax your only numbers away from help. In today’s society, texting has somewhat replaced voicemail and lets us express messages swiftly without a ringing disturbance. Email still remains and instead of it being replaced by the cellphone it has become integrated becoming more accessible.
Many may envision ‘’apps’’ (applications) when thinking of cellphones, there are thousands of them ranging from education, entertainment, finances, and etc. Step into a scenario were your waiting at the market while coupons get scanned by the hundreds. Boredom strikes, do you start a rampage and chunk candy? Check voicemails? Well if your impatience like my niece and I we play ‘’angry birds’’ to kill time.
You ever lose your phone like your car keys at a party? Do not despair as there is also an application for that called ‘’Find my IPhone’’ by using Global Positioning System (GPS) you will save yourself some heartache. GPS brings to light other features similar to the old bulky phonebook guiding you to restaurants, activities, cities you never heard of and etc.
Cellphones our infants compared to other technologies but without it I feel it would be a pain to make a phone call having to memorize phone numbers, then finding a phone booth or landline just to say a few words. As cellphones become trendier, prices declining with more competition making it easier to obtain. Perks of owning a cellphone will continue adding up as technology keeps advancing. In the end I believe it could save you from tragedy, ease your mind, and bring about prosperity.
