Throughout the years, many people have put a pause to their academic life, to go on with their life. Some of them found jobs, others got married, and others joined the military. On the other hand some adult’s students made the bold decision to go back to college, knowing they would face many challenges. Furthermore, these challenges are stumbling block in the path of adult students returning to college; although, there are always ways to overcome these challenges.

Even then, many of these adults students prefer to take an online course, rather than being on campus. Another challenge they face is that some of them have families. They are married and with children. Besides, they work eight hours a day, sometimes more hours due to being in the military. After working all day, they go to the house to take care of the wife and the kids, leaving little time to study. Now, double the trouble for an adult that is returning to college as single parents; he or she will face challenges than not other person would. Moreover, they have to take care of children by making sure they are doing their homework, feed them, and overall take care of their life. Also, let us take into consideration adults’ students that return to college and face the challenge of taking care of a disabled family member. This situation could be harder in areas where the disabled person needs more attention than a normal child; as a result, making it very difficult for them to perform in college.
