Challenges Of The Medieval Knights In The Middle Ages

In the Middle Ages the Medieval Knights did some hard and easy tasks/challenges. The Medieval Knights had to learn how fight and go to war, but the war was extremely violent in the European countries. Some hard tasks/challenges that the Medieval Knight had was enhancing skills for the war, like 2-handed sword, battle axe, mace, dagger, and lance. The Knight was expected to stand guard at the castle, and support the lord in the Medieval warfare. There are some Knights that rode horses and their horses were called a destrier. Knights are trained to become Medieval Knights and those Knights would have several different horses which were used for their different duties. The bigger and stronger horses would be used as warhorses, and not regular duties.
Also knights were required to swear allegiance to a liege lord. A knight had to follow a strict set of rules of conduct, these were the knightly virtues. The virtues were Mercy (Towards the poor and oppressed, They were supposed to be harsh with evil-doers), humility, honor, sacrifice, fear of God, faithfulness, courage, and utmost graciousness and courtesy to ladies. All of these virtues became more idealized as time went on. Being a knight in the Middle Ages was extremely expensive. The armor, the weapons, the horse, and the servants were a lot of money, and the living expenses.
