The key economic benefit was the increase in trades between countries. The invention of the steam engine meant that factories could be built anywhere and not just along rivers. Also, it helped trade by having more efficient trains, factories, ship and cars dirtubted goods to other countries. Trade between countries was closely linked to
the progress of the industrial revolution.
The revolution also created many opportunities for the economy to grow and help wages rise. Before the revolution there were two main classes, which was Upper and lower class. However, from all the factories, machines and new technology there was an important role for middle class such as builders, welders and engineers. The new technology had cut down productions times in half. The emerge of the middle class benefited families and help provide better schooling and affordable issuance.
Many wealthy entrepreneurs organized business and realized they needed to invest in new technology. This helped to produce more products and create markets for our economy. However, many hardworking Americans were felt it was unfair working conditions and hours. This caused workers to form labor unions to help protect and further their rights and interest.
