The golden age of science played an important part in the history of technology. The astronomers were interested in making improvement on technology and The work done on this technology was because of the Arab astronomers who would translate the previous translations and were a part of the House of Wisdom. It was a university where the study of science was very beneficial and theses astronomers were concerned with the concept of time. The astrolabe was an instrument that the Arabic’s started to analysis because it was a time when learning and knowledge were a part of Islam. The astrolabe was a mechanical device that was used for astronomy and it was for calculating time and the direction. The astrolabe was designed with a purpose and it was a scientific contraption that would help the Muslims by guiding them which direction to the Mecca and it would help with telling when and the time of day. The Arabic technology is an interesting theory and it was a part of the Golden Ages when the scholars were changing the way the world looked at these endeavors and their wisdom to innovate. Astrolabes was introduced earlier but the origin is unknown. The Greeks were the first to inscribed the astrolabe but it was the Islamic astronomers who worked on this innovation
