Character Analysis: The Westing Game
In the book The Westing Game, there are 16 unlikely people who meet up for a reading of Sam Westing’s will. They have to try and find out who killed Samuel W. Westing or even figure out who Sam Westing is. They each get $10,000 to start of with and a clue as well. An example of a clkjue is: Sea Mountain Am O. There might be hidden names in the clue, or there might be places where Sam Westing could be. In the apartment complex they live in, Sunset Towers, is right across the way of Sam Westing’s house… coincidence? I think not.
One of the characters is Turtle also known as Tabatha, a troublemaker and a stock freak. Turtle lied to Flora telling her that her real name was Alice. As good a liar as she is, every second of the day she knows the stocks

Bombs?! Yes! 4 bombs went off during this competition. Players thought it was a threat and whoever set off the bombs was the one who killed Samuel. One of the bombs went off in the Coffee Shop and another went off in an apartment. A couple of people were injured but nothing other than that. The bomb squad had to come and investigate this crime. People in this game were starting to question the bombs. Who could set these bombs off? Everyone was together almost all the time. Who could sneak away and set these bombs? Was it even a resident? Was it a pedestrian? What? Could Otis Amber possibly be Sam Westing in disguise? For a short period of time, all the players thought that Otis was Sam! Could this be? Turtle has to find out more about this situation. She borrowed Mrs. Baumbach’s bike and rode over to where Otis was delivering the mail. Could Otis be Sam? Did Turtle and Sandy just win the prize? Will they ever know? Here is a plot twist; Sandy is actually Samuel W. Westing! Surprising? Yes! Unexpected? Yes! Nobody was expecting that, not even me! Now the team of Turtle and Sandy has won two million dollars! Also, we know that Sam wasn’t murdered nor kidnapped! He has been playing this game for a long time and nobody even
