Character Analysis: To Kill A Mockingbird, By Harper Lee

Growing up is hard, but you get to learn how to do everything. The narrator joins the boy scout to make a man of himself, so he want to move up to second class. In order to move up, he has to leave Brooklyn on his own and mention it to his friend so they are also going with him and the author name is Avi, she called it “Scout’s honor”. The character traits is brave and fiber are the narrator possesses. The narrator quality is brave. He display them. For example, as they were going to George Washington bridge “the narrator was brave to cross the bridge (Avi 357).” This show that he was trying to look brave. Also this shows that his friends also helping even though he was convinced that the bridge was about to collapse. He was trying to be brave. In addition, “Before they were going camping one of the scout law is to be brave (Avi 353).” This show that they have to be brave all the time. Also this shows that when maybe they are in trouble or don't know how to figure the problem they would be brave and try to solve it. As you can see that why brave is the quality that the narrator have.
The narrator’s quality that he is a fiber.
For example, as they were going to the camping site Avi said “ I like roughing it ” (Avi 352). This shows Avi was clearly was trying to be tough in front of his friend. Also this shows that if Avi going camping with his friend. He going to have to be tough in the whole time. In addition, “at the end they all admitted to not being tough” (361 ). This shows that the boys were pretending to be tough. Also this shows that Avi thought that his two friends were tougher than he was. For these reason, it is clear that the narrator is a fiber. The narrator possesses is brave and fiber are the character traits. Being tough is not always a sign of maturity. They are learning to take responsibility for other and they also learning to be
independent.
