Character in Role: Narnia - Reepicheep
I am glad that my final adventure in Narnia is one I shall never forget. I feel happy leaving Narnia knowing that peace has been restored. Caspian is a great leader and he will lead Narnia fairly and strongly just like his father. I will miss Caspian. I was one of his knights and it has been my pleasure to fight beside him. (Sigh) I am sad that I shall never pick up my sword and have a duel again. One of my favourite duels in fact was with Eustace. Ahhh, Eustace. He was such a nuisance when we first met, stealing rations, showing no respect and just being plain annoying. When he picked up me up by the tail I was furious, no one touches my tail. It was given to me by Aslan when it got chopped off in a battle.
When Eustace was a dragon I thought that I was finally going to get some peace and quiet and I did, but I knew Eustace was having some trouble adapting to the idea that he may never be a real boy again. I tried to make him feel comfortable by telling him stories so he was not thinking about it. Eustace became a hero by protecting us from the serpent. He really showed his confidence. I would normally say that I taught him that, well I did, but he really taught himself. He now has humility, kindness and courage. Eustace was so different to his cousins at the start but now he is just like them. Eustace was a dis-believer before and currently he finally has an imagination. I hope he comes back to Narnia because I know he is going to do great things one day.
I shall miss Lucy and Edmund very much as I did and still do with Susan and Peter. I wish they can stay. I wish they haven’t grown too old. Now that I am off to Aslan’s country, I am sad that I will never see them again. (Sigh) I can still hear Lucy’s last words to me “May I” she said. Normally I am not a hugger but anything for Lucy. I am just so sad that I will never be able to see her precious face again.
I wonder what it will be like. Aslan’s Country. All the stories I have heard say that it has giant

The book The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, takes place in Narnia. Narnia is a land of talking animals. This story appeals to a younger audience, since they are interested in animals and magical creatures. One of the main characters, Aslan, is the lion who rules Narnia. According to the passage, Aslan is a type of god-like figure because of his long life, immense power, and benevolence. It is very fascinating to note that, when they hear Aslan's name, the children recognize his power, but also become more themselves. The physical form of the lion does not matter. The author uses a lion because a child associates a lion as being scary, but in the story the lion is kind and brave. Aslan's characteristics alter the young readers…

The Narnia series can be seen as a symbolic reiteration of classic biblical stories. The seven books attempt to recreate everything from major events in the Bible – Genesis and Revelation, the creation and end of the world – to popular medieval saint’s life. In The Magician’s Nephew, the reader is first introduced to the world of Narnia, along with Polly and Digory, the first children from our world to enter Narnia. As Genesis tells of the creation of the world, so The Magician’s Nephew explains how Narnia came to exist and introduces the reader to Aslan, the creator and God figure, and Jadis, the Satan figure, through whose presence at creation evil enters the world. The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe introduces the four Pevensie children – Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy…

Lucy's description of her early disease is particularly upsetting. Her family, overwhelmed by financial and emotional turmoil because of the stress of her illness, is not as visible as the part they actually played. Lucy's mother was a somewhat blurred figure who seemed to disappear by the middle of the book and portrayed her father as a particularly vague individual. However, the day-to-day trappings of illness force her to rely on her mother, whose relationship is one of the most disturbed, and moving. Early on she comments that when she was a child she didn't understand that her mother's anger was caused by depression, but she never elaborates on this observation. Her mother compares being brave with being good, and says: "At a time when everything in my family was unpredictable and dysfunctional… here I had been supplied with a formula of behavior for gaining acceptance and, I believed, love. All I had to do was perform heroically and I could personally save my entire…

Juliet, that your grace, and voice, and passion, and beauty will be shrouded from the world pains me. I humbly believe you were my own daughter, not to replace Susan, whom you now rest with, but to be mine alongside her. I remember well that you were the prettiest I ever nursed, one who, through the thirteen years you walked on earth, brought me laughter and strife, joy and woe. Yet lie knowing well that you had more merriment to deal than misery, and that even as we gather to speak, we are all aware that you would not have been happy to live without fair Romeo by your side. All I ever wished was for you to be content, so much so that I transgressed my lord and lady’s trust, which, while a dreadful mistake, I do not wholly regret.…

At first glance the reader may think that The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is just another fictional story about talking animals and children running around a mythical land named Narnia. The book is an allegorical piece of literature relating characters from the book to characters in the Bible. In Clive Staples Lewis’s novel, the author uses the symbol of the stone table and the symbol of the hero to convey to his readers the theme of Christianity in the novel.…
