Characterization Of Tangerine

Muck Fires, Sinkholes, Lightnig, are some of the natural cuases located in florida. In the novel “Tangerine” By Edward Bloor, there is alot of these cuases, In the Novel “Tangerine” is Taken place in Flordia, Lake windor Downs. The fisher family just moved there from texas.

Erick Fisher from the book “Tangerine” is self center. A scene in the story that shows this characteristic is when Dad starts talking about Erik. “He Looked over at Erik “that’ll be good for us, I’ll be able to go to your football practice everyday. This shows the trait by showing how dad thinks Erick and his football dream is more important then his job. Another plot this characteristic is seen is when Erick is talking to Mike and stated, “ coach Warner knows what i
can do.... When i go out there it’ll be for real” This part is a perfect way to say how Erik is selfcenter. It shows how Erick can be really self Center by saying how good he is and that they dont need to fake a play. In Addition a diffrent trait for erick would be, is manipulative. A scene in the story that shows this characteristic is on page 299. It states, “Dad came into the kitchen and told Mom and me, ‘Arthur Bauer is trying to blame Erik. He is saying that Erik put him up to it. Erik denies it. He says Arthur misundertood him. It’s a big mess.’” This event is a good example becuase it shows how Erick got away from that situation by making it look like it was Aurther intention to kill Luis. Another scene where the trait is shown is when Erick puches Tino and paul can see a white shirt inside and it was there dad, Mr. Fisher.
