Even though you have reached the requirements for completion of an article, are the words that are used to compose this articles concrete and supports the main thought. This is the meaning of the essay How to Say Nothing in Five Hundred Words. The average student or person pays more attention to the minimum amount of words that it takes to compose an article, but while a student is striving to reach that point do these words actually support the point of view that you are trying to inform your readers of.
The one element that sticks out in this essay is the thesis statement. The author clearly states the purpose of this article. Not only is the thesis statement concrete but the author use various examples which still leads back to the main though of the thesis statement.
In paragraph seven of page eight, the author, Paul McHenry Roberts, states that one word can mean a number of different things and could also have a negative or positive reaction from readers or just from the general public. The author goes deep into his discussion, where he uses certain words and defines the meaning from a reader’s perspective positively or negatively.
This element will be used throughout my essay to continue to support the idea or main purpose of my essay. By supporting the thesis statement, I will use different examples of why I feel that I have overcome the topic and describe how each was examples was completed and what I would normally do versus what I had to do to complete the task correctly.
