List and explain the five steps to creating a basic Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation. "Presentation software (also called presentation graphics software) is a computer program you use to organize and present information to others." (University of Phoenix, 2013). The first five steps in creating a PowerPoint presentation would be to first start the program by opening Microsoft PowerPoint. Second you 're going to want to open a blank presentation slide if it hasn 't automatically done so. Third step would involve creating a title or heading page. Next you will begin step four by typing the title of the next page or chapter and begin writing in the bottom box which displays click to add text. Lastly step five would be to add finishing touches this is a step I would add any speaker notes if you haven 't already done so and pictures to meet the standards of the topic at hand.
How would these steps differ if the presentation had a business orientation? The steps may differ if you are doing a business orientation by selecting different options and making the presentation a bit more formal. The idea of this would be to choose a business theme add a table of contents or introduction page that includes the topics that would be discussed. When doing a presentation it is a good idea especially for a bigger audience to throw in some eye-popping material such as pictures or company 's logo in the background. When thinking about doing something like this you can generally follow the same steps just edit or add things you would do if it 's for a formal presentation such as a business orientation.
What features should be emphasized and why? The features that should be emphasized I would say should definitely be pictures that match with the discussion. I view PowerPoint as an intriguing way to attract the attention of others during a presentation throughout the use of
