Chemical Change
I am going to talk about how gold is made. I also noticed some physical and chemical changes happening in the video. My first Physical change I saw was when they drill in a certain spot, on the rock then they can put the pieces back together and pretend it did not happen because the molecules have not changed in the object, you are just breaking them into smaller pieces. So that is why it is a physical change. A chemical change I saw is when there is gold mixed with other materials like silver and etc. But if they only want to get the gold they have to process it and isolate it and extract it too, to get the gold. That is a chemical change because once it is processed you cannot turn it back into simple rock, like how it was before. In this …show more content…
We can improve this because instead of blasting up the environment and animals homes we can do this in a more safer way. For example, you can minimize and control how much gold you are taking out of the ground. This will help the environment because instead of taking a lot and blowing up a lot of the earth we can start minimizing how much we take out of the ground, so we can have a safer environment to live on and a safer planet to live on too. Another way we can improve and help the environment while mining for gold in a positive way is when you are mining you go in a certain spot and only stay there. What I am trying to say is instead of just mining where ever you want to go and you know animal homes are there what you could do is find a certain spot where you can mine and only stay in that area. So this will help the environment because say if you want to mine for gold and you just go in a random spot and start mining there could be animal homes there trying to survive when you are just ruining their home. So that is why miners should stay in one spot only, instead of blowing up the entire environment. If we do that then we can have a safer environment and planet to live on

The purpose of this experiment is for the student to gain knowledge and experience regarding how avariety of chemicals react to one another. In addition, the student should also gain a betterunderstanding of the household chemicals that they use in their day to day lives.Procedure:Observe the chemical changes that occur by mixing a list of chemicals (provided in the lab manual).Add 2 drops of the first chemical into a well in the 96 well plate and then add the second chemical.Observe the mixture against white and dark backgrounds by sliding white and black paper under thewell plate.Record reactions.Observations:This experiment allowed me to observe the chemical reactions that occur between a variety ofchemicals and some indicators. The following observations were made: NaHCO3 and HCI – CO2 HCI and BTB NH3 and BTB HCI and blue dye Blue dye and NaOCI NaOCI and KI KI and Pb(NO3)2 NaOH and phenolphthalein HCI and phenolphthalein NaOH and AgNO3 AgNO3 and NH3 NH3 and CuSO4…
