Material:
Erlenmeyer flask (250-mL) Small glass vile Rubber stopper to fit the flask Safety goggles Lab apron Graduated cylinders (10&25mL) Lead nitrate solution Potassium iodide solution Balance
Procedures: 1. Measure 18 ml of potassium iodide solution using the 25 ml graduated cylinder. 2. Pour the solution into the Erlenmeyer flask. 3. Measure 8 ml of lead nitrate using the 10 ml graduated cylinder and pour this solution into the small test tube. 4. Carefully place the test tube containing the lead nitrate solution into the Erlenmeyer flask, being careful not to mix the solutions. Stopper the flask. The system should look like Figure 1. Figure
