First, of all The Bulls used to be a super team. Now they are an faint remembrance of The 80’s and 90’s. People like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr and more was the team of this era. After Michael Jordan announcing he was entering the NBA 1984 draft The Bulls weren’t doing too hot. He got selected 3rd overall but he wasn't the only need for them. Michael went to the playoffs that year but he and his team lost in the first round. They eventually went on to win six NBA Championships.
Now when Derrick Rose was drafted in 2008 and first overall he did great. Until he started having ACL and ankle problems. Most of the time he was out for the season and the aging Taj Gibson, and Carlos Boozer with Joakim Noah all being frontcourt they aren't good at offense.(Frontcourt isn’t the guards)The Bulls had a lot of defensive players not so much offense. Try to build some center and cornerstone players. The Bulls still have a lot of work cut out for them. Picks and luck will most likely be the success of the Bulls for a couple of years. Now The Bulls can make it to the playoffs but won’t make it past the 2nd round. In the east it's easy to rebuild because the Cavaliers dominate that. You can easily make it but more east teams are becoming super teams. Even though the east has some up and coming teams. People have supported the Bulls for a long time but Chicago is still growing. In my opinion when more people move there the less popular they are because people bring their likings of teams. Which then dwindles the Bulls popularity because people like the Celtics live there or Thunder fans are there. But places like Kansas City where basketball is popular but we have no team can affect that too. Thunder and Bulls are the main contingency here. The Bulls once were a super team then a terrible team and they are starting to rise
