Physical abuse is a form of a neglect it is when the parents or care givers are not providing the necessary needs of the child; such as not providing shelter for the child, and not supervising the child. Physical abuse is also defined as a physical force or violence’s that results in bodily injuries or pain. With the lack of supervision a child will be free to do whatever they want because they feel that there are no consequences. A child needs to have a sense of authority figure in their lives. Child help (1959-2012) states that when a child is abuse, or they are being neglected in any way there is a 59% chance that they will be arrested at a young age. This can also become a pattern that stick with them through adult hood; this being said it also states that when they become adults there is a 30% chance that they will commit violent crimes and end up in jail. When a young child is being abuse there are many physiological damages that may occur, the child may become distanced and withdrawn. This can lead to the child growing up with many issues that can possibly result in them becoming abusers to their love ones.
Another form of abuse is Educational it is defined as a parent or care giver who neglects their children’s educations, or neglects to attend to the child special needs education. When a child does not have structure are guidance in their lives there is a strong possibility that they will drop out of High School. Teens dropping out of high school have become an epidemic in the United States.
