Children: Autistic Spectrum Or Autism Spectrum

Autism also known as autism spectrum is a lifelong developmental disability that causes individuals to have social, communication and language problems. Many people with autism have normal levels of intelligence, but most people with autism have some level of intellectual disability, ranging from mild to serve. When children have autism, they might have problems with social interaction, like playing with others, understanding feelings, and making friends. Some children may be standoffish of people while others could be overly active when interacting with others. Children with autism often have difficulties with communication skills like reading or writing, having conversations, and following directions. At time a child with autism will start
talking around the same time ore even before a child without autism but then lose his or her language skills. The behavior that is common for children with autism is throwing tantrums, getting upset by certain sounds, and have limited interests. Because a child with autism often shows limited interest, it often seems like he or she can’t hear. Even though people with autism share some of the same characteristics, no two individuals are the same. The common features that are shared help determine the basic needs for individuals with autism.
