Chile Atacama Desert Research Papers
Chile Atacama desert Useful To Find Life On Mars
Chile Atacama desert may appear to contain little other than red-dim shakes and sand. However, researchers are occupied with hunting here down pieces of information to life in a place it much looks like the Mars. This desert in northern Chile, similar to the red planet, is hot, dusty and to a great degree dry. However life exists here: modest green growth and microscopic organisms that have developed to get by in the dry earth on minimal more than daylight. When they have done it here, then why not on Mars, 225 million kilometers (140 million miles) away?

Exploring Chile Atacama Desert
Dorador will dissect the pieces in a portable lab which she drives around the Chile Atacama desert looking for small living things. She is one of many researchers from different nations chipping away at various Mars-related tasks in the Chile Atacama desert. Independently, US space organization NASA in February completed its second period of work on penetrating for tests in the earth of Chile Atacama desert with exceptionally composed wanderers. When life exists or ever existed on Mars, the planet's surface dryness and broad (daylight) radiation introduction would likely drive it underground, NASA said in a report.
That makes areas like the Atacama great spots to work on searching for life on Mars. In the occasion that fossil life on Mars looked like Chile Atacama desert, it could reveal insight into our own sources. Considering Mars may help see how life began on Earth, says Christian Nitschelm, a French space expert at Antofagasta

By capturing Atahualpa at Cajamarca, the conquistadors had essentially defeated the Incas. Without its leader, the rest of the empire fell easily. Pizarro demanded a massive ransom for Atahualpa, consisting of an entire room filled with silver and gold. He then executed him, replacing him with a puppet ruler. Although several rebellion attempts occurred over the next 40 years, all were unsuccessful, and the Spanish finally colonized the region in 1572 as the Viceroyalty of Peru.…

Chaco Canyon is located in northwestern New Mexico. Around 700 they started building rectangular houses above the ground. There was higher rainfall and higher groundwater levels and this caused an increase in population. What was so remarkable about this period was the Chaco phenomenon, which is the construction of fourteen Great houses in Chaco Canyon. These houses were multistory, and made from stone-and-timber pueblos. One of the houses, known as Pueblo Bonito, had more than six hundred rooms, forty ritual enclosures and it was as high as five stories. Large caches of rich ceremonial artifacts have been discovered and so it is believed that it served as ceremonial functions.…

Many scientists believe that these organisms could be the ancestors to the first living organisms that evolved on this planet. After the Earth's formation, the planet was a volatile place. The atmosphere as we know if was forming and world above the sea was uninhabitable. Thus, scientists look to the sea as a place of origin to life as we know it. With proof that life can survive near hydrothermal vents using chemosynthesis today, scientists hypothesize that early life could use the same resources after the ocean was formed and early life was estimated to have begun. So from the theories of evolution, to the fact that these newly discovered species of organisms may spur development of new drugs, industrial processes, and other products, the research of hydrothermal vents can affect us all.…

The article The Martian Chroniclers a new era of planetary exploration by Burkhard Bilger discusses Earth and Mars known as the “Goldilocks Planets,” this is because Earth and Mars both have the perfect environment for life to be sustained. I was first observed that Mars had evidence that it could sustain life in 1877, by the astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli. Schiaparelli drew a map of mars as an “earthly paradise.” This was because he observed that the planet had what appeared to be continents and water channels on the surface. Although, it was discovered that Mars has less water contents then earth’s driest desert. Nevertheless, because of Mar’s atmosphere and geological environment Mars has the possibly that it can sustain life. NASA has sent many space crafts to explore what is on Mars the first was the Mariner 9 then, Viking 1 and Viking 2, the…

Mars is an interesting and mysterious planet. It is often referred to as the Red Planet. The Romans named Mars after the god of war. The rocks, soil, and sky all have a red hue on account of rust. Mars is the fourth planet from the sun at about 141 million miles (228 million kilometers) and the last terrestrial planet from the Sun. Mars follows closely behind Earth but is comparatively smaller, with about half the diameter of Earth (6,794-km) and about one-tenth of Earth s mass (6.419 x 1023 kg). Thus the force of gravity on Mars is about one-third of that on Earth. Mars is probably the planet we know the most about since it is so close to Earth, though what we know now is not even close to everything about the planet. Over the past several decades, humans have been interested about life on mars.…

In an article by Discovery News, scientists state they have found a growing organism on planet Mars. It is ironic that when we find a single celled organism on Mars, we exclaim “There’s life on Mars!” Yet, when a woman becomes pregnant, we falter in defining whether or not the organism growing inside of her is considered “life” or not. It is not necessary to kill an innocent life; there are many other solutions to resolve this problem short of abortion.…
