Chocolate Chips: Strawberry Dipped In Chocolate
Use these recipes to create strawberries dipped in chocolate, gourmet chocolate pretzels, chocolate caramel apples and chocolate covered pecans.

Strawberry Dipped in Chocolate
Choose luscious and large strawberries from the grocery store.
Carefully wash and air dry them, leaving the stems and hulls intact.
Microwave milk chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, following the instructions on the bag. Do not overcook.
When the chocolate is melted, carefully dip each strawberry into the chocolate, swirling the berry to completely cover it with chocolate.
Set the dipped strawberry to dry on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
When the chocolate has set, drizzle melted white chocolate over each berry in a zigzag pattern.

Push a popsicle stick or sturdy wooden skewer into the stem, and push to secure the apple to the stick.
Melt unwrapped caramels or caramel bits in a microwave safe bowl in the microwave, following the instructions on the bag.
Dip the apples into the soft caramel to completely cover most of the apple.
Set the dipped apple to dry on a wax paper lined cookie sheet. You may wish to refrigerate the apples to speed the process.
Once the caramel is firm, melt milk chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, in the microwave, following the instructions on the bag.
Pour the melted chocolate into a Ziploc bag and seal it.
Snip a tiny opening in the bottom corner of the bag, and draw random, zigzag lines over the apples.
Layer the chocolate on until the desired combination of chocolate and caramel is reached.
Chocolate Covered Pecans
Melt milk chocolate chips in the microwave following the instructions on the bag or in a double boiler on top of the stove.
Stir in fresh pecan halves and a pinch of salt. Stir well.
Separate pecan halves with a spoon and place individual halves on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
Cool for at least 10 minutes in the refrigerator to set.

First, make sure to wash all the apples very thoroughly. The reason why is to make sure the apples are clean of any and all pesticides and dirt. Next, cut the apples in half and carve out the center of each half, which my grandmother used to call as coring the apples. Next, slice the apples into quarters and puree, peel and put them in the blender or a food processor. Make sure to turn the blender on and keep the blender or food processor going until the apples are finely ground. The reason a person wants the apples finely ground is because the finer the pulp the more juice that can be extracted. Please understand, a blender or processor is not requested or needed because the apples can be in a big pot in about 4 inches of water.…
