Choices and Consequences
“Nobody ever did, nor ever will, escape the consequences of his choices.” Both Alice and Robinson Crusoe acted impulsively. Alice followed a rabbit, ending up falling down a dark hole. And she also ate and drank things out of pure curiosity. Robinson Crusoe disobeyed his father, and ended up getting captured. After this, he went to sea again, and then was stranded on an island. Alice and Robinson Crusoe both experienced consequences resulting from their decisions.
Alice and her sister are sitting on a riverbank when she sees a white rabbit pulling out its pocket watch. She immediately jumped up and followed it. As a result, she fell into a big, black rabbit hole. She didn’t think about what would happen once she went down a rabbit hole blindly. Once she was out of the long, dark hole, she went on a long, wild, adventurous journey in what was known as wonderland. Alice’s curiosity got the best of her, sending her down a blind hole.
When Alice first arrived in wonderland, she was trapped in a hall of locked doors. The one door she has a key to she isn’t able to go through it because she is too big and the door is too small. She is determined to get through this door to the beautiful garden she can see through the tiny door opening. She ate and drank different substances, causing her to change sizes. Once she was a giant, then she shrunk. She was enormously huge, and then she shrunk. Eventually, she discovered a mushroom that helped her control her size changes, but before she got the hang of it, she shrunk so small that her head touched her feet and then so tall that she rose beyond the trees. Alice ate mysterious substances without thinking about what would happen as a result. Because of Alice acting on impulse, she grew and shrank in every direction.
Robinson Crusoe dishonored his father’s wishes, and as a result, he was captured into slavery. His father wanted him to
