The first journal that I decided to revised was about religion. A lot of things happened in my life that made me realize some facts that I did not
take into account before. I considered all details while revising it. Also, it served as an auto-evaluation of my own beliefs. Religion is a tricky issue and approached it carefully. The second revised journal was about my smart goals. I have changed since the beginning of the semester and I think that since I am going to open a new stage in my life next semester, I should update my goals. I feel very satisfied with the goals I proposed, and even though it is going to be difficult, I will try my best to do the best I can.
While writing the journals, I never followed a specific structure. I just addressed the first idea that came into my mind when reading the statement. Once the idea was on the paper, I revised it making sure that the format and spelling were right. Sometimes, I read the journals to my roommate to see her point of view so that I could have a better understanding. But the most important thing that I discovered is that no matter what you write, you have to express yourself in each journal. Every person is different, and that uniqueness is what makes us so special.
