Citizenship To Illegal Immigrants
Juan is an illegal immigrant from Mexico. Hes is a Maintenance worker. But throughout the day he also helps out with the poor/homeless. His family is from Sinaloa , Mexico. He came to the United States to get a job and make money to support his 4 kids in Mexico. Juan’s goals are to make enough money to pay his rent and send money to his children. Many immigrants come from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and China. Also about 8 million of undocumented immigrants are in the U.S workforce. The United States should give citizenship to illegal immigrants. One reason that immigrants should get citizenship is because there intelligent and could invent new technologies, create jobs, and maybe help boost up our economy. According to

    Immigration to the US should be legal firstly just based on the fact that the roots of this country are tied to large immigration flows of individuals from a variety of areas throughout the world. American companies benefit from being able to pay low wages and send more money to its investors or stockholders. Another reason to consider legalizing immigration in the United States is to gain a sense of cultural competence. When a country is exposed to such a large variety of cultural differences among its inhabitants then they are more likely to appreciate those of another background and begin to build a sense of unity or community between each other. Finally, immigration should be granted to illegal aliens because it will lower the welfare rates that are currently catastrophic within the Unites states.
