Life of the city

City life has got to be one of the most exciting places to live. Many people seem to think city life is too fast paced or too fake for them to enjoy a city life. Living in the city for me seems to be one of the most exciting places to be. Hearing all of the hustle and bustle going on outside of my house, seems to give me a since, that I am not alone in this world. There are many reasons I love the city life, but there are three main reasons and they are entertainment, transporation and cost, and being able to experiences ethnic diversity. To begin with, there are many reasons I like the city life. Entertainment is the most exciting part about city life. For instance, being able to go out and have a good time at any bar within walking distance from my house is one of the greatest pluses to living in the city. There are also a lot of theaters to go and see shows. Besides this, cities also provide many fine opportunities for amusement and recreation. In every city there are a number of cinema houses and theatres, where we can enjoy the best pictures and dramatic performance. There are also a number of restaurants and hotels where we can get food, tea, etc, of the finest quality. There are also many parks and gardens where we can enjoy natural beauty at is best. The markets of the city, specially when brilliantly lighted at night, are better than many exhibitions and fairs. Futhermore, transportation is very accessible in the city. Transportation and costs is a factor that many people think about when moving; cities tend to have public transportation because of traffic congestion. The city life offers many means of public transportation; which includes taxis, buses, subways, and airports. When you live the city, there is always public transportation for people to get around. You can easily catch or call a taxi, ride the local bus, the subway, and others. So, if a person in the city doesn’t have the money to buy a car,

Cities bring pride, unity, as well as consumer goods in large quantities. Living in a city will make for a simple life when compared to living in a rural area. Readily available goods, homes, and jobs can easily be found in urban areas. Cities are the first to gain new technology and fashions. They also make for a separate government and economy, which allows a citizen more say in their surroundings, taxes, and laws. Without cities, people would be scattered across the land and would not have access to as many resources.…

Life in the city is challenging, but it provides many opportunities unlike country living. There are many activities taking place around the clock. Shopping services are convenient and close, which offer anything a person could want or need. It is also a good place in case an emergency was to occur. Hospital, police stations and firefighters would be easy to get in touch with. The city life provides many advantages of a modern society, but it carries a heavy cost. For example the housing and food in the city are expensive. Another major advantage of city living is public transportation. Transportation is always there, but it gets expensive when you take a taxi to and from work every day. We have all heard of the term “downtown", which is all the entertainment in the city such as clubs, restaurants, and other major social events. In the city there are many more stressed people. All of these things take a huge toll on one's body over a period of years. Another huge problem in the city is the air is polluted. The opportunity to relax in the city is most likely to never happen ,if you lived in the country you can relax whenever you would like.…

City living is very busy. The city has way more pollution and a ton of cars and people. In the city area, the average person either catches the city buses, a taxi cab or subways to get around. These people love the attractiveness of downtown high rise buildings and the skyline. Some people love living right in the heart of the city so they normally rent town houses, apartments or buy homes. This way they are always close to everything they will need, but because of the high populations it might take one hour to go ten miles. This causes complications…

Unlike the country, the city is full of action. The city is full of different colorful lights at night, tall and short buildings all around, vehicles traveling at a steady pace, and people walking towards their destination. In the city, not much of nature or animals are within sight. It is a place that is fast paced compared to the country which is a slow paced environment. If you have two choices: life in the city or in the country, which one will you choose? .Some people think that city life has more benefits than country life; however, some people agree that country life is a real life like a nice dream: hearing nature’s music, seeing sights of the land and its beauty, and planting trees. Even though, city living and country living might be considered similar, as night and day but from a broader perspective, they both have some differences in conveniences, life conditions, and people's characteristics,…

Being in big cities make me feel important. As I stride down the endless side walk with my head high and my heels higher I feel like I’m going somewhere and have meaning. As thousands of people pass me by I realize this is where my heart lies, this is where I would like to be. Some of my friends ask why I would want to live in a city that never sleeps, truth is, that’s all I dream of day in and day out. There are will always be things that I can partake in whether it’s going site-seeing to see the Statue of Liberty or going on extravagant shopping sprees. I am satisfied with the thought that I will never get bored or not have anything to do. Also, I will be able to be the social butterfly that I am and meet many people of different cultures because the city is so versatile. Some days I will probably run across famous people unlike here, where I have an estimated .03 % chance of seeing a person with significant meaning strolling down the side walk.…
