Civic responsibility as it relates social issues refers to the idea of making a difference in the civic life of our communities by promoting the quality of life. Social issues cover a wide range of problems and controversial topics in our society. Some of these issues include abortion, LGBT adoption rights, euthanasia, the death penalty, the first amendment and various government mandates.
