By analysing various sources a judgement is clear that Martin Luther King Jr. actions were powerful and influential. King revolted against hatred, oppression and had the desire of true freedom for the African American society. King had been exceptionally inspired by a dream in which evolved into a powerful movement. King was influential ....with his effective non-violent approach towards racism. The followers of Martin Luther King held demonstrations including marches and sit-ins, they demonstrated their point across peacefully. Although he (who)??? considered pursuing an academic career, King decided in 1954 to accept an offer to become the pastor of Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama. In December 1955, when Montgomery’s black leaders, including Jo Ann Robinson, E.D. Nixon, and Ralph Abernathy formed the Montgomery Improvement Association (MIA) to protest the arrest of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)official Rosa Park in December 5th 1955 for refusing to give up her bus seat to a white man, they selected King to head the new group. In his role as the primary spokesman of the year-long Montgomery bus boycott, King utilized the leadership abilities which he had gained from his religious background and academic training to forge a distinctive protest strategy, King also became a firm advocate of Mohandas Gandhi’s precepts of nonviolence, which he combined with
