Immigration and Customs Enforcement is responsible for the illegal immigration apprehension, and deportation. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are also responsible for any kind of contraband from entering the United States without proper documentation. Immigration discloses information to other law enforcement agencies when requested about a foreign national (Grant & Terry, 2012, p. 11). Transportation Security Administration is also part of the Department of Homeland Security. Also known as the (TSA) is accountable for the safety of transportation throughout the United States. The (TSA) are at airports, train stations, and even boat docks. The (TSA) acts as prevention, deterrence for any possible terrorism. The U.S. Secret Service, which used to be under the Treasury Department, was released to the Department of Homeland Security in 2003. The Secret Service was established to suppress counterfeit money, and later changed to protect and guard the president, the vice president, and their families.
