What is your CLAIM?
Sodium Bicarbonate and water make the bag cold.
EVIDENCE to support your claim
Sodium Bicarbonate and water make the bag noticeably cold.
When you take calcium chloride, phenol red, and water the bag becomes hot.
If you add Calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate there will be no reaction.
If you add Sodium Bicarbonate and Phenol red the bag will become cold.
When you take Sodium Bicarbonate, Phenol red, and water the bag will become cold.
Using your stellar reasoning skills, what is your conclusion to your claim using your evidence to support your claim. Be sure to explain WHY your evidence supports your claim.
Sodium Bicarbonate and water make the bad cold because when you add both
of them the bag will become cold. When you also take Sodium Bicarbonate, Phenol red, and water it will become cold because it has water and Bicarbonate in it as well. When you take Sodium Bicarbonate and Phenol red the bag will become cold but when you take calcium chloride and sodium bicarbonate there will be no reaction. If you take calcium chloride, phenol red, and water the bag becomes hot and the difference with this one and the other ones is that you replaced Sodium Bicarbonate with calcium chloride. This means that if Sodium Bicarbonate is with water of Phenol red it will be cold but if you add calcium chloride the bag will become cold. So some of the bags are cold because there isn't any calcium chloride.
