He compares Claudius as the devil, whose job is to deceive and he states that his true colors will be revealed. Black refers to darkness. Darkness can refer to insecurity, guilt, fear, wrong-doings (sin), ignorance, etc.
“And my imaginations are as foul” In hamlet act III. ii
This double entendre has two interpretations. Hamlet speaks about his plot against Claudius to Horatio. Either what the ghost revealed to him is false, or he has gone crazy and has imagined it all.
“You shall see anon” In hamlet act III. ii
A perfect example of an obsolete word. This word just means “right away”.
“What, frighted with false fire” In hamlet act III. ii This double entendre has two interpretations. Fire means destruction or renewal. Gold must go through fire to be purified, and in order to obtain forgiveness there must be guilt. Another meaning could be that this is small compared to what is coming next. Hamlet declares something greater is coming.

I find that Hamlet is Intelligent. He does things he should not do especially to women, yet the way he composed the play and his plan for revenge is well-organized and well-thought of. The words he states foreshadow future events yet spoil nothing. He fools everyone but
