Classical Vs Operant Conditioning
Starting with two types of learning, Classical and Operant conditioning. They each have their own methods of learning. As we all are very well known of the how Classical conditioning came in place; the famous experiment "Pavlov's dog" of how just a bell was enough to bring the dog to salvation, was shown by well-known physiologist Ivan Pavlov. Whereas , the second type of learning is operant conditioning in which a learning processes shows good behavior you'll get a reward and if you show illness behavior the result to that would be a punishment.
A famous author name Kendra Cherry had once written is one of her articles that " Classical conditioning is a learning process that occurs through associations between an environmental stimulus and naturally occurring stimulus. This type of learning is basically between two stimuli and that equals learned response. Classical conditioning bought behaviorism in place where all learning occurs through interactions with the environment, the environment shapes behavior (Cherry, Kendra). For example, whenever I am home, I am usually the one to make tea for mom and I , so whenever the tea is ready to served I usually take out two tea mugs for the tea

Classical is type of learning where the response is given in the process of the stimuli whereas, in operant conditioning stimuli is shown after the behavior and therefore is rewarded or punished. An operant conditioned learning is used in everyday life. For example, if a two year is learning to potty train, the parents will offer some kind of reward like chocolate to persuade the children to sit and do their business. Moreover, operant is nevertheless is part of our daily lives and which builds a fear in our heart and as well as the mind.     Classical conditioning is a form of basic learning the body automatically responds to a stimulus. One stimulus takes on the properties of another. The Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov (1849-1936) is credited for discovering the basic principles of classical conditioning whilst he was studying digestion in dogs. He developed a technique for collecting dog’s salivary secretions. Pavlov (cited in Eysneck M.W 2009) noticed that the dogs would often start salivating before they were given any food or saw the feeding bucket or even when they heard the footstep of the laboratory assistant coming to feed them. Quite by accident Pavlov had discovered that the environmental control of behaviour can be changed as a result of two stimuli becoming associated with each other.     Classical conditioning was a theory developed by a Russian psychologist called Ivan Pavlov (1849-1936). He was working with dogs to investigate their digestive systems. The dogs were attached to a harness and Pavlov attached monitors to their stomachs and mouths so he could measure the rate of salivation. He noticed that the dog began to salivate when someone entered the room with a bowl of food, but before the dog had eaten the food. Since salivation is a reflex response, this seemed unusual. Pavlov decided that the dog was salivating because it had learned to associate the person with food. He then developed a theory. Food automatically led to the salivation response, since this response had not been learned, he called this an unconditioned response, which is a response that regularly occurs when an unconditioned stimulus is presented. As food automatically leads to this response, he called this unconditioned stimulus, which is a stimulus that regularly and consistently leads to an automatic response. Pavlov then presented food at the same time as ringing a bell (neutral stimulus), to see if the dog would learn to associate the bell with food. Classical conditioning could be used for psychological distress like phobias. For example, Mary cover jones put a child with a fear of rabbits in a room with the rabbit far way.     Classical conditioning and operant conditioning are learning styles associated with human behavior. According to Kowalski and Westen, (2011) “Classical conditioning is a procedure by which a previously neutral stimulus comes to elicit a response after it is paired with a stimulus that automatically elicits that response” (Kowalski & Westen, 2011, p. 164).     Learning a behavior is gaining knowledge or skills through experience, practice, or conditioning. For example, most people learn to wake up at the sound of an alarm clock.
