1. How does poverty and class status impact young children?
I think any child is not able to protect themselves regardless of class status or poverty, but children falling into groups belonging to low classes and poverty are even more at risk in matters not just of growth and development but of existence in general. I am glad that there are various state programs ( WIC, SNAP, Welfare and so on) which supporting families with low incomes, but in general, none of these programs can change the whole picture of poverty and the needs of such families. Reality and statistics clearly show that the chances of a child born in such an environment to grow up healthy and prosperous are extremely insignificant.

about children in poverty after reading this information?
I found that in our society this problem not only exists, but it is constantly increasing and needs a quick and competent response for correction. It is noted that children of color are in even greater risk and more difficult conditions of life. Without going into this type of information, or not encountering such facts in everyday life, it is easy to conclude that such is very rare these days, or happens only because of the parents themselves. Overview of the State of America's Children 2014 simply plunges into shock, there is no way to stay indifferent.
3. How can it assist you in how you work with children who have lived experiences include poverty?
First of all, help begins with the recognition of the fact that unfortunately, numbers of children at risk in our days are much more than they seem. The way in which the child lives depends on the income and abilities of the parents. Therefore, relationships with parents can become a type of active and real help to the family. The educator can provide information on state /local programs related to food, health, housing and work. Just being in direct contact with the child, the caregiver can notice changes in the behavior or health of the child and check their suspicions to help the child in case of neglect, violence, as well as helping parents to advocate of their children.
Size, and Beauty Status
1.How does the media influence the self -image of young children in the area of appearance, size, and beauty? The child's self-image really depends on the age. Most often young children's reaction such these: all people who looks like me are good, if they are looks different- they are bad. Children very easily and unconsciously accept the standards of beauty. Later, comparing these "standards" with himself, and watching the reaction of the others, the child reflects the opinion of the majority. Thus, children reflect what they see and learned.
2. What are the societal expectations of appearance, size, and beauty? What are the societal expectations of appearance, size, and beauty? In our days, the societal concepts of beauty broadcasted by the media more refer to people with light or white skin. People of color are represented to a lesser degree. Although, in comparison with the past, the differences are noticeable.
3. For example, who is seen most on magazines? Who is visible on beauty commercials most? Having traveled to the states, I noticed that there is a significant difference in television programs, shows, print media and store advertizmennts. States with a large number of diverse cultures have a greater representation of this difference than states with a predominant number of white people. Most of the advertisements, magazines, or clothing and cosmetics stores are advertised by people of different races, but with a predominance of light-skinned models. Why? I think that this directly depends on the prevalent group and the level of financial well being of the population of the state. One again, this is underscores the division into those who can afford it or not, based on skin color prejudice.
4. Who is visible on beauty commercials most? Why? Now there is a lot of advertising everywhere, and compare to the previous days, it is more and more noticeable that the faces of advertising are changing to the multicultural ones. Despite the fact, that posters with light-skinned models are major, you can easily find beautiful models of any race. I found it by walking around the mall's shopping center in such stores: Nordstrom, Macy’s, TJ Max, JC Penny, Ross, Banana Republic, Target, Ulta, Dress Barn and so on. The beauty industry is constantly imposing standards of beauty for a specific period of time. This especially applies to women's beauty standards such as makeup, clothing, figure, nutrition.
Ability Status
1.Summarize what the video is about.
Personally for me, this film is about the complex choice of one specific family and the clash of different opinions of family members about the choice that was made.
2.Why is the video about more than Cochlear Implants?
This video is more about a specific group of people who have hearing problems and are a minority group, in relation to people who do not face such problems.
3. Who has the privilege or who is the dominant group in this movie? Why? This film represents a dominant group as those people who have the ability to hear and communicate without sign language or Cochlear Implant, or has the opportunity to fix hearing problems by this Implant. Because the ability to hear in this context is accepted as a privilege. Also, the film shows a separate group of people who do not agree with this opinion and defend their point of view.
4. Who are those without privilege? Why? Those who, due to the age, medical contraindications or the lack of parental consent, can not put themselves this implant. Because this deprives them of the opportunity to be like everyone else, to hear and communicate like people who do not have hearing problems.

dynamics.
The fact of what decision was made by the parents shows that they are the power that define the privilege for their child. The privilege to be like they are.
Faith base Perspective Status
1. Summarize what the video is about.
This video is a tragic example of how easily people are ready to judge others, based only on their emotions and lack of knowledge the difference of faith and cultures.
2.
What were your previous assumptions regarding the members of the Nations response to 911?
I consider the appeal and reminder of the President that people of the country are immigrants from different countries and cultures, very sensible and timely. Despite everything, I agree that in any case, every person should personally answer for what s/he has done, and not the entire country, nation, or family 3. What are your thoughts on how the country responded to members of the Sikh community in association with 911?
My thouths are, the agression to the individual race, nations groups is much more real than it seems and is directly related to what is happening in the country and how the government reacts to it. In this case country showed both sides of the face. On the one hand, life-threatening aggression and hostility towards the Sikhs, ( and all Arabic) allegedly justified by tragedy. On the other hand, the ability of people to empathize and unite to protect the innocent.

Thus, reading the proposed material and viewing the video more and more understand that modern society is very multicultural and has obvious social divisions of availability that can be explicit or hidden. The future of any country is children. Opportunities to change the state in which children are now, this is the reality on which we must concentrate and improve. This is the reality for which it is worth thinking about your own perception of yourself and others, to change it if necessary, in order to avoid the transfer of distorted concepts and prejudices of society to children.
