Abstract
This project is about the formulation of the healing cream or the COCO – CHAR – CREAM, particularly.
Due to economic crisis we are facing today,we should think of some remedies to various ailments or diseases that we are suffering from. Remedies that we can afford at a very low cost and can avail everywhere. In this study, the researchers wanted to find answers to the questions of the possibility to formulate a low cost cream from the cococnut charcoal and coconut oil. Determined whether it is comparable with the other commercial cream in our leading drug store.
The mentioned ingredients were both beneficial, since they came from the “tree of life”, the coconut.
Wood, coconut shells and bones of animals do not produce harmful chemical, such as methylcholentrene and benzopyrene in the process of burning. That’s why the researchers came to realize that these materials be used in formulating such cream.
The formulated cream out of coconut charcoal and coconut oil can easily prepared and relieve diseases.
Experts say that charcoal is universal remedy to many health problems people face today. Charcoal’s major role in the healing process is merely to absorb toxins, germs, viruses, bacteria and wound secretions. It relieves pain and aches, absorbs acids produced by the stomach, relieves gouts and arthritis, destroys or stops the growth of bacteria, removes odors (a deodorant), relieves inflammations and others. Fear not in utilizing this cream because it has no side effects. It is safe and effective.

The fancy ingredients like Progenium XY technology, which added to the moisturizers do not work and little more increasing the price of the product. Theses expansive creams are replicated to your own kitchen with simple water and oil mix. “There are 3 groups of ingredients in moisturizing creams that is powerful chemicals, cooked and mashed up vegetable proteins and esoteric ingredients” (Goldacre, 2011, pp. 24-25). The powerful chemical is ineffective because they are at such a low concentration to eliminate chemical burn that they don’t even work. The eventual proteins do work but for the very short time until the ingredient is washed off the face. Esoteric ingredients tossed in that aid the companies in fooling their customers for example molecular components. “Goldacre sites in an example that salmon DNA being added into a cream is being useless because the skin does not absorb molecule as our DNA. Also, if we were to absorb salmon DNA, it would be ineffective because our DNA produces human cells and salmon DNA produces fish cell which is not useful for our body” (Goldacre, 2011, p.26). Many companies claim that moisturizing cream provide oxygen to your skin. Many of the creams contain hydrogen peroxides. In…

The use of charcoal in treating diseases is a product of long years of scientific studies. Charcoal is defined as an amorphous, porous form of carbon made by the destructive distillation of almost any carbonaceous material such as wood, coconut shells animal bones, and corn cobs. The medicinal properties of charcoal are given strong boost by the United States (a book that tells how to prepare and use medicines). Besides giving direction for making charcoal, the Dispensatory lists several problems that can be treated with charcoal. Activated charcoal exerts its effects by absorbing a wide variety of drugs and chemicals. The important work of charcoal powder in the treatment of diseases is to adsorb chemical substances that are harmful to the body, like germs, viruses, toxins, wound secretions, and other products of infections. To adsorb means to take up, hold on, or spread out on the surface of the molecules. Charcoal works like a magnet.…

PART 1 MODULE 3 VENN DIAGRAMS AND SURVEY PROBLEMS EXAMPLE 1.3.1 A survey of 64 informed voters revealed the following information: 45 believe that Elvis is still alive 49 believe that they have been abducted by space aliens 42 believe both of these things 1. How many believe neither of these things? 2. How many believe Elvis is still alive but don't believe that they have been abducted by space aliens? SOLUTION TO EXAMPLE 1.3.1 When we first read the data in this example, it may seem as if the numbers contradict one another. For instance, we were told that 64 people were surveyed, yet there are 45 who believe that Elvis is alive and 49 who believe that they've been kidnapped by space aliens. Obviously, 45 + 49 is much greater than 64, so it appears that the number of people who responded to the survey is greater than the number of people who were surveyed. This apparent contradiction is resolved, however, when we take into account the fact that there are some people who fall into both categories ("42 believe both of those things"). A Venn diagram is useful in organizing the information in this type of problem. Since the data refers to two categories, we will use a two-circle diagram. Let U be the set of people who were surveyed. Let E be the set of people who believe that Elvis is still alive. Let A be the set of people who believe that they have been abducted by space aliens. Then we have the following Venn diagram showing the relationship between sets E, A and U:…
